Reading & Language Arts
This will be our third year with the new state standards as well as reading curriculum. We look forward to a successful year as we navigate these newer expectations.
We strongly encourage you and your child to visit the Benchmark Universe website located in the Home Folder of Class Link. This page will provide information and links for our new reading series called Benchmark Advance. It offers a variety of interactive games, activities, and other resources for students to practice skills they are learning for that particular week. This website even includes a Parent Page! Refer to the class home page for the weekly story your child is working on. The other website links help students hone in on skills they may need extra practice with. And most importantly, READ with your child at least 20 minutes daily!
***Student passwords for Class Link will be sent home as soon as we have them.***
